ZIMBABWE | AFRICA

Ed’s first invitation to Zimbabwe came in 2016 as his team endeavored to touch the Mountain of Praise Churches by conducting multiple regional conferences. The first convention ever for Zimbabwe was in Chimanimani, in the southern part of the nation. Being their first conference, it was very well attended, and attested to many miracles as men, women and children pressed to the front for a touch from God. He met each individual and many were healed and set free.

In leaving the area, Ed was asked by Pastor Rego, “What is your vision for Zimbabwe?” His response was to bring unity and teaching to the churches. Pastor Rego, the apostolic leader, said, “they will unify in having a building they can call their own.”

In the words of Mama Myambo Loice, the leading evangelist in Zimbabwe, “I want to go and open more churches.”

During a conference in 2019, Ed was asked to pray for a barren Zimbabwean woman, and was contacted in March 2020 that she had conceived. She gave birth to a baby girl in August 2020. Ed sees that miracle as a prophetic indication of how Holy Spirit wishes to birth new growth in this nation.

Through partnerships with WFRN, and the local communities throughout their listening area, a building has been constructed. It is called “Zimbabwe Worship and Training Center”.

We give thanks to all donors, as we go forward in this process of raising pastors in this area. Since the beginning of this building, we have seen churches grow and the number of Mountain of Praise churches has increased to 24.
